This page showcases my creation of three different purpose-built interactive case studies for two clients; covering dermatology and rheumatology.

The Challenge

The first two case studies centre around educating healthcare professionals in the dermatology areas of Atopic Dermatitis and Wound Care. The third focuses on understanding Osteoarthritis and was completed more recently.

The Process

Working internally and externally with stakeholders regarding feedback and guidance; I built both case studies - by breaking down the task into various stages based on the number of PowerPoint slides and written content I had to work with. I then used Outgrow and Dreamweaver to structure and code the case studies accordingly.

The Outcome

Working closely with the client, I successfully created three case studies using Outgrow, which I then embedded into the EMJ website. Please see here Atopic Dermatitis and Wound Care. The Challenge

To create infographics that closely match the brief provided either from in-house stakeholders, or external clients. On this page, are a range of infographics created for EMJ GOLD, and for various external clients [on behalf of EMJ].

The Process

Liaising closely with stakeholders; I first and foremost create a rough infographic sketch of concepts and desired layouts which I feel would fit an infographic. I do this in tandem with online research where I look for sources of inspiration to help guide my process. I too always seek feedback from my peers regardless of their seniority as every little helps (sorry Tescos).

Following this, I use Adobe Illustrator to refine and develop my infographic before submitting to the client and eventually publishing it (following the back-and-forth conversation over potential edits et al.)

Infographics which are shared to educate healthcare professionals; and individuals in general!

The Challenge

To create magazine spreads which satisfy stories within the field of Pharma. As part of EMJ's pharmaceutical news arm, it was important to create spreads, working closely with other designers and the Marketing team, to best represent the story being told.

The Process

Liaising closely with stakeholders; a brief is provided, which I then analyse, sketch concepts, and then bring to life digitally using Adobe Illustrator (for the graphics); and InDesign for the final layout! I have many years of experience working on this publication, which has ultimately strengthened my print skill.

The Outcome

Magazine spreads both in double-page and single-page which are published within the online and printed EMJ GOLD magazines of which you can find here. This page includes some of my best spreads, sourced from various GOLD issues over the years!

Many of these spreads/stories are shared widely both in public, and online, especially LinkedIn!

The Challenge

To create a web booklet that the client would use to give to their new tutors. The booklet needed to be sleek, and entirely in the Figtree branding. The size of the booklet was to be A4, just in case the booklet was to be printed.

The Process

Regular meetings with the client and the start of the work saw me sketch out a variety of potential layouts for the booklet, taking into account the copy and image suggestions I was provided with. I then transferred my ideas to Adobe InDesign where I produced the booklet. I used Illustrator for any icons and used Photoshop for any image-remaster work that I needed to do. This was a comprehensive and exciting project!

The Outcome

The web booklet is now in distribution (on-demand) to new tutors of Figtree Learning. Final format: online PDF

The Challenge

To create email campaigns which promote company material, but also client promotions. All email campaigns on this page created on behalf of EMJ.

The Process

Having created all of the email templates for the company; I use said templates to create in-house promotional material which covers much of the work in which we produce in the medical field.

The Outcome

I have created email styles for all of EMJ's products; making the creation of work easier in the long run. I have also built emails from scratch, or based off of a brief for various clients, which in turn are sent to hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals!

In my career, I have created and/or quality-checked hundreds of email designs.

The Challenge

Creating my personal fashion brand which required a logo, brand designs, and social media material.

The Process

Working with The Prince's Trust, I created my brand in 2012, and went live with it in 2014. I have really enjoyed sketching out and producing my logo using Adobe; as well as all the following designs over the last decade or so. Producing the social media content came easy, using Adobe Photoshop to create material to ramp up the hype around a collection release. I also was the photographer for all of the ranges!

I have been a bit quiet with the brand since lockdown, but it is my baby and I am proud of creating it! I have produced a range of collections; held many exhibitions/shows and been featured in some publications! My highlight so far is exhibiting for all of June 2015 at the Prince's Trust Tomorrow's Store on Liverpool Street! 2015 and 2017 and been two of the brand's best years, as well as late 2018!

I had the pleasure of creating a range of social media content for the Castle Arts business, with my favourite being my collection of Black Friday Sales content produced in the Autumn/Winter of 2024.

The Challenge

Required was an effective array of content tailered for both UK and international markets that grabbed a customer’s attention when scrolling through Meta content.

The Process

Working closely within the Marketing team, they provided me with the copy (both English and translated into other languages, including French and German) to use for the designed content. I worked mainly in Adobe Illustrator to create a few drafts before settling on the designs uploaded here. I had to bear in mind planning for Instagram feeds and for Instagram Stories. I also had to consider the sizes required for Facebook.

The Outcome

Whilst there were some design challenges centred around fitting translated content onto the artwork, I made a success of it by ensuring the copy size was slightly adaptable depending on which country I was doing the artwork for. I successfully negated the challenges and produced artwork used in Castle Arts’ Black Friday promotional drive.

The Challenge

To create a booklet which the owner of Slidercuts would use at his debut masterclass show in Shoreditch. He needed the booklet to be fairly simple in its aesthetic, but clear enough to promote his services to others; as well as give them advice on what constitutes to good haircare.

The Process

Really enjoyed the process of having fairly frequent catch-ups with the client as we worked and fine-tuned the booklet. The main colour palette to use was black and white, his general brand colours; and to implement high quality photography showing the client and his team at work. I also went on to design t-shirt concepts for him which he loved.

The Outcome

Booklet was successfully created, printed, and used at the client's shows in London (please see 2nd picture). This led to further work where I refined his Slidercuts logo - please visit his website to see this!

The Challenge

To produce a flyer that promoted a client's 30th birthday party offerings. The date and location were not required on this design. The client wanted the main colour to be blush pink; with all other ideas entirely up to me including the font.

The Process

Sketching out the design, I kept in mind the need to include elements fitting of a silent disco and a disco in general. As the key requirement was to promote what each disco channel would be playing, I used a vinyl disc and split it equally into thirds. For the header, I paid for the font 'Marigold' as I really liked its elegance (as did the client). The font 'Dosis' was used for the body copy. The design is CMYK-led as this will be getting printed.

The Outcome

Flyer was successfully created and is now in the process (as of 30.09.24) being printed for the forthcoming birthday party.

The Challenge

Phenotype Beauty was due to release a new skin cream and needed a brochure that they would use at exhibitions. They needed an A4 booklet explaining the product, as well as other point-of-sale (POS) material in the form of A3/A2 display stands. All work was to be done using their brand guidelines. The Process

I first took their old work, assessed it; and then eliminated and remastered their content, which involved conceptualising and redrawing certain parts. Their point-of-sale material I designed in a way that clearly signaled their brand, style, and the product they were promoting!

The Outcome

A booklet that was displayed at their events (see Facebook promo in the 2nd picture) and POS material used at exhibitions.

The Challenge

To create a diverse range of children's characters for Children's clothing and accessory business 'Kids Run Tings' based in Bristol. The client wanted the children's designs to be relatable and easy to understand. This was my first ever freelance brief. Sadly the business no longer exists, but the experience was invaluable on a project which lasted around 11 months.

The Process

The process required a fair bit of sketch conceptualisation work at the beginning before I transferred the work to Adobe Illustrator. These were my first-ever digital illustrations, so I wanted them to be quality! I had weekly catch-ups with the client to shape each character and ensure total satisfaction!

The Outcome

I created eight characters that were used on clothing, accessories, and a website! This is one of my proudest projects today because, at the time, it took me so out of my comfort zone! It was in this project I really learned how to effectively liaise with external clients in a freelance gig (2013).

I have since drawn many illustrations both in a freelance, and hobby capacity, of which you can find on my other portfolio page.

The Challenge

To create large-scale print material and also social media campaign material for the Media Trust's inaugural triathlon fundraiser at Dorney Lake, Windsor.

The Process

Working with the Marketing Manager, I created the large-scale material, also liaising with their external printer suppliers in central Europe to get the work over the line. The social media campaign material was created using their in-house materials, branding, and other inspiration.

The Outcome

In the pictures to the left, you get a view of the produced artwork which was part of a day that helped the trust raise several tens of thousands in donations. At the event featured sponsors from the likes of ITV, Google, Dentsu Aegis, and Channel 4 amongst others!

The Challenge

Challenged myself to regularly create illustrations of celebrities, or of people I know (with their permission)

The Process

Spent several hours per week sitting down and drawing on Adobe Illustrator.

The Outcome

A range of illustrations (the Pogba one is my favourite). Several of these illustrations were produced in print at a month-long exhibition I held at the Dugdale Centre in Enfield Town!
